YONG Group’s Yong Foundation Sends the Best Christmas Gift to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital
On September 12, 2015, a small donation ceremony by the Yong Foundation was grandly held at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital (RBWH, hereafter referred to as “the Royal Hospital”). Attendees included Professor Jeffrey Lipman, Director of the Burns, Trauma, and Critical Care Unit at the hospital; Karen Gallagher and Cathy Yang from the RBWH Foundation; Sue Ellis, Chief Operating Officer of YONG Group; Tom Zhang, YONG Group’s annual top sales performer; and Harvey Huang, son of YONG Group founder Peter Huang (Huang Yong).
This donation saw the Yong Foundation contribute another $23,579 AUD toward urgently needed medical equipment that, due to public hospital budget constraints, could not be procured otherwise. This includes one microdialysis pump and two high-end dialysis chairs.

For the first time, the Yong Foundation has become a sponsor of Guide Dogs Queensland, helping support visually impaired individuals in the local community. Guide Dogs Queensland is one of the largest and most trusted charitable organizations in Australia, with nearly 30 years of experience dedicated to assisting adults and children with vision impairments.
On behalf of the Yong Foundation, Mr. Peter Huang, founder of the Foundation, donated $35,000 AUD to Aileen McGregor-Lowndes, Project Leader at Guide Dogs Queensland.
